SCRIPTURE: And their nobles shall be of
themselves, and their governor shall proceed from the midst of them; and
I will cause him to draw near, and he shall approach unto me: for who
is this that engaged his heart to approach unto me? saith the Lord. – Jeremiah 30:21
THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: A person who decides to focus his heart in prayers is the person that God hears.
From the anchor scripture, it is clear that the kind of prayers
that produce kingdom giants and stars do not only involve physical
activity or the volume of utterance but prayers that involve the
engagement of the heart.
Now, what is the kind of prayer that engages the heart?
1. They are prayers that proceed from the depth of the heart
2. They are prayers in which the mind and the body are in harmony with the heart; not absent-minded.
3. They are prayers that involve the full occupation of the heart. A
person who decides to focus his heart in prayers is a person that God
hears.
What are the benefits of Engaging the Heart in Prayers?
1. It secures God’s attention.
The Bible confirms in Isaiah 65:24 that while we are yet speaking,
God answers. That is to say, it is the call from the heart that God
hears.
2. It confirms the presence of faith.
Whenever God sees your faith, He moves into action (Hebrews 11:6)
Remember this: A person who decides to focus his heart in prayers is the person that God hears.
