Topic: Dunamis Seed of Destiny Topic Thursday, 17 March 2016 MARKING YOUR GENERATION WITH IMPACT
![]() |
Overview
SCRIPTURE: “And I will make of thee a great nation, and I will bless thee, and make thy name great; and thou shalt be a blessing” – Genesis 12:2
THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: A person marks his generation when he begins to exist as a generational problem solver.
Marking your generation simply means, making a mark or impact that
cannot be erased in your generation. It is being a generational blessing
and not a burden. It is to exist as a generational asset and not a
liability.
When you come to the point where your absence is felt and your
presence is noticed, then, you are making a mark in your generation.
A person marks his generation when he begins to exist as a
generational problem solver. There are people who do not just exist;
they are those who solve generational problems like Joseph. When there
was food crisis (famine) in Egypt, he was used by God to solve that
problem in that generation. Nehemiah also existed as a generational
solution provider; he rebuilt the broken walls of Jerusalem.
Beloved, there are two categories of people: those who are part of
the problems and those who are part of the solutions – which category do
you belong to?
My counsel is, be a solution provider to your family, office,
school, etc. Let those that know you be happy that they are associated
with you.
Receive the grace to be a blessing rather than a burden now in Jesus’ Name.
Remember this: A person marks his generation when he begins to exist as a generational problem solver.
ASSIGNMENT (S)
1. Determine to always proffer solutions wherever you find yourself.
2. Consciously exist as a blessing rather than a burden.
PRAYER: LORD, I thank You for Your Word to me
today; help me to be an asset and not a liability to my family, friends,
colleagues and my generation in Jesus’ Name.
